A novel regulatory factor in osteoclastogenesis DCL-1/CD302: significance of its binding to CCN2/CTGF

CCN2/CTGF is known as a multi-functional growth factor for various mesenchymal cells including chondrocytes, osteoblasts, vascular endothelial cells and its function is suggested to be produced by its binding to other growth factors or membrane proteins. Therefore, finding out these binding partners are critically important in understanding the molecular function of the CCN2.
